How do I enable Closed Captioning?

Depending on the device that you are using, you can enable or disable closed captioning by following the steps below:

Desktop/Laptop

1. Select a game you want to watch
2. Click “Play”
3. Hover mouse over the progress bar located at the bottom of your screen
4. Navigate to the closed captioning icon on the right side of the progress bar
5. Click the closed captioning icon and select “English” to turn on subtitles
6. Click the closed captioning icon again if you want to turn off subtitles

Apple TV

1. Go to settings on your AppleTV
2. Select general
3. Click on accessibility
4. Click on subtitles and captioning
5. Choose closed captions to them on

ROKU

1. Press the home button on your Roku remote
2. Scroll up or down to select settings
3. Select accessibility, if accessibility is not listed, select captions
4. Select captions mode and choose when captions appear

Amazon FireTV

1. Start playing the video
2. Press the menu button on your FireTV remote
3. Select subtitles and audio
4. Select the off button under subtitles and captions
5. Select an available language from the options to turn captions on

Chromecast

Important: Your caption preferences might not apply to certain apps.

1. From the Google TV home screen, select Settings Accessibility > Captions.
2. To show captions, turn on Display.
3. Choose your options.
