Depending on the device that you are using, you can enable or disable closed captioning by following the steps below:
Desktop/Laptop
- Select a game you want to watch
- Click “Play”
- Hover mouse over the progress bar located at the bottom of your screen
- Navigate to the closed captioning icon on the right side of the progress bar
- Click the closed captioning icon and select “English” to turn on subtitles
- Click the closed captioning icon again if you want to turn off subtitles
Apple TV
- Go to settings on your AppleTV
- Select general
- Click on accessibility
- Click on subtitles and captioning
- Choose closed captions to them on
ROKU
- Press the home button on your Roku remote
- Scroll up or down to select settings
- Select accessibility, if accessibility is not listed, select captions
- Select captions mode and choose when captions appear
Amazon FireTV
- Start playing the video
- Press the menu button on your FireTV remote
- Select subtitles and audio
- Select the off button under subtitles and captions
- Select an available language from the options to turn captions on
Chromecast
Important: Your caption preferences might not apply to certain apps.
- From the Google TV home screen, select Settings Accessibility > Captions.
- To show captions, turn on Display.
- Choose your options.
